Pediatric care provider Tender Touch Therapy will open a new clinic in Kenosha at the end of September. The company is dedicated to fostering spaces that thrive on advocacy, creativity, happiness, and teamwork.
Their Kenosha location will move to the newly renovated former United Autoworkers Local 72 Building at 3615 Washington Road, Kenosha.

Serving Wisconsin
Tender Touch Therapy has been in Wisconsin for over 20 years and continues to grow.
Linda Niemela has been serving Southeast Wisconsin through Tender Touch Therapy since 1999. The company initially offered a home pediatric therapy provider for care from an infant through her 3-year-old. In 2003, the company opened its first physical store. In 2018, the company partnered with Medical Support Services, a treatment provider specializing in physical, occupational and language services.
Expansion of Kenosha
So far, Tender Touch has grown to offer state-of-the-art clinics in Oak Creek, Mount Pleasant and Kenosha.
Tender Touch Therapy has renovated a beloved building in Kenosha. The site of UAW Hall since 1961 is known for countless events such as union meetings, political rallies, fundraisers and parties. The space is now being used for much-needed care for families in the Kenosha area.
The 18,000-square-foot building underwent a major renovation to house a brand-new clinic that provides pediatric care services to children of all abilities in the Kenosha area.

To celebrate the opening of the new location, Niemera is inviting the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for Tender Touch and Medical Support Services at this new Kenosha location. It takes place on Fridays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The event will feature speakers from members of the Kenosha Area Business Alliance, families of patients from Medical Support Services, and Tender Touch employees. Participants will be provided with a guided tour, snacks and refreshments.

Emphasis on inclusion
With demand for pediatric services growing, Tender Touch provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services to more than 250 patients daily. In total, the company employs about 100 staff.
“We don’t just treat children of all abilities, we advocate for them, educate our communities about different diagnoses, treatments, and ultimately help them live the best quality of life.
