CRESTLINE — Beginning Thursday, this year’s Crestline Harvest Festival features musical performances, contests, and lots of goodies.
The festival along Toman Street from Bucyrus to Main Street opens at 5pm on Thursdays on the main stage next to the fire station. The event runs until Saturday.
Rides are open Thursdays from 5-10 PM, Fridays from 4-10 PM, and Saturdays from 12-10 PM. All-day wristbands are priced at $10 on Thursdays, $14 on Fridays, and $17 on Saturdays. Individual tickets are $2 each, or $30 for 20 tickets. 2-3 tickets are required for each ride.
The Crestline Harvest Festival Little Miss Pageant kicks off on Thursdays at 5:30pm on the Main Stage, followed by the Princess Pageant at 6pm and The Queen’s Pageant at 7pm.
Following the pageant, Pioneer Performing Arts takes to the main stage at 9pm.
Friday’s main stage entertainment includes Jess Kelly Adams on the main stage at 6:00 PM and The Nashville Clash at 8:30 PM.
Free seniors bingo is offered at the Crestline Community Center on Fridays from 1-2pm. Seniors aged 55 and over are eligible. If you plan to attend, please call 419-562-3050 to register.
Saturday’s event kicks off at 7:00 a.m. with a Crestline Firehouse Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Station.
The Back the Blue Car & Motorcycle Show starts at 9am in the Village Hall parking lot on Seltzer Street. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., craft shows are held under the Lawn Tent at the Methodist Church.
Royal princesses can take pictures at the Spot Rolling Bean at noon.
The Harvest Festival Parade begins at 3:30 pm on Saturdays and travels down Bucyrus Street from Kerry Park. Alumni Night and Bulldog Backers will be held at 6pm at The Hub.
Saturday’s main stage entertainment will feature Direct Energy at 6pm and McGuffey Lane at 8:30pm.

There will be many competitions at this year’s Harvest Festival. Registration forms for all Saturday contests are available at Crestline Schools, Crestline Public Library, Village Hall and online at crestlineharvestfestival.com.
Kids Stage Contest includes:
- Newly launched this year, the Crestline Cuties Contest starts at 9:30 am. The event requires an application fee of $5 per child.
- The Updo/Most Creative Hair Contest starts at 10:15am for ages 1-8 and ages 9+.
- Hula Hoops start at 10:30 am and Limbo starts at 10:45 am, both for children ages 5-10 and ages 11+.
- Another new addition, Cookie Face, starts at 11am for kids ages 4-9 and 10-18.
- The water balloon toss will take place at 11:15 am and must be two players per team. This is for children ages 5-10 and ages 11+.
Main Stage competitions include:
- The Hay Bale Toss Contest is back for the first time in two years. From 11:30am, the age groups are He 8 and Under, 9-12, 13-17 and 18+.
- The pizza meal served by Checkers begins at 12:30 PM. Age categories are 8-12, 13-17, and 18+.
- Wing eating at Just Jokin’ Bar and Grill is limited to the first 10 guests. The age groups are 13-17 and 18+.
- The Mustache Contest will be held by Ed’s Barber Shop at 1:30pm. For those over 18, there are his five categories: beard, full beard, partial beard, mustache and crowd favorite.
- At 7:30 PM, the free throw contest will be held at the St. Joe’s Convocation Center.
