Chef’s Table Wine Dinner is September 14th
Destin’s Soleil Chef Michael Sichel prepares to host his second Chef’s Table Wine Dinner on September 14th at 6pm with a focus on French Loire Valley wines.
Guests arrive and are seated at the chef’s table for a four-course dinner. Each course is paired with a wine from the Loire Valley. A chef will guide you through each course and explain why the wines were chosen to pair with the dishes.
With the Gulf of Mexico as a backdrop, Wine Dinner attendees will experience an evening of fine wine and food. Reservations are limited and can only be made by calling Soleil at (850) 353-2867. The price is $159 per person and includes 4 courses and wine for each course.
Wiggin’ out for a cause
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) will be hosting its 6th annual Wiggin’ Out for a Cause event hosted by Great American RV Superstore on Thursday, September 22nd from 6-10pm. Destin.

This year, ECCAC is also encouraging male participation. With the theme “Your Dream Prom Night,” ladies and gentlemen, come dressed for your best (or worst) prom.

international beach cleanup day
Saltwater Restaurants and Destin Fort Walton Beach Tourism are hosting an international coastal cleanup on Saturday, September 17 from 8-10am.
For over 35 years, the Ocean Conservancy has hosted the International Coastal Cleanup®. This is a global event that prides itself on “Using the Power of People to Fight Marine Litter”. Our cleanup goal is to remove as much trash and debris from our local beaches as possible, and there are multiple locations where volunteers of all ages can participate. Attendees will receive an event t-shirt (limited availability, first come, first served) and complimentary post-cleanup breakfasts at Boardwalk, Club Trap and Surf Hut locations. Volunteers are asked to bring buckets, mesh bags, gloves, and garbage grabbers. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and sunscreen.
After the cleanup, the conservation fun continues at the Choctahatchee Bay Family FUN-FEST on the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk from 10am to 1pm. For kids, local vendors, and door prizes.
Berktoberfest is October 27th
The 7th annual Barktoberfest is a dog trick or treat event hosted by Dog Harmony at Grand Park on Grand Boulevard in Sandestin on Thursday, October 27th from 4:30-6:30pm. increase.

The Grand Boulevard Farmers Market is held every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 1pm at Grand Park in the heart of Grand Boulevard in South Walton. Grab your shopping bags and shop for local produce, eggs, jams and pies. Homemade soap, quality olive oil, pickles and more are all available to take home.
Rosemary Beach Farmers Market
Browse the 30A Farmers Market at Rosemary Beach on Sundays from 9am to 1pm. The local farmers market is held at North Barrett Square on Scenic 30A on Sundays year-round, and Thursdays during the summer.
Adopt a Street
The City of Destin’s Adopt-A-Street program enables local families, businesses, and community groups to perform valuable community services by adopting sections of roads to keep them clear of trash and debris. Groups that participate in the program will have their names posted on the city’s website and signs installed on the streets adopted.
